This second volume of the Ibero-American Journal of Music Education brings together various approaches to the study of music from an interdisciplinary perspective. Through historical reconstruction, music teaching, and pedagogical innovation, the articles included in this issue seek to broaden understanding of the impact of music in different contexts. Topics range from the reconstruction of medieval music and its teaching, unconventional notation for early childhood and primary education, and the assessment of skills in music education, to physical and stage training in conservatories, the promotion of school dance, the inclusion of people with sensory disabilities, and the use of artificial intelligence in the teaching of chamber music.
