Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

All content published in the Revista Iberoamericana de Educación Musical is continuously deposited in Zenodo, an open-access digital repository supported by CERN, which ensures the long-term preservation of articles and complete journal issues. Each publication is assigned a unique DOI, guaranteeing its citability and traceability. 

As a complementary editorial-grade digital preservation measure, the journal has natively enabled the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Preservation Network through the OJS platform. This allows for the creation of a distributed archiving system and the generation of permanent editorial manifests to ensure the resilience, availability, and restoration of content in the event of any technological disruption. The publisher also performs monthly internal backups of the database and archives on separate servers.
